Care Plans
Supporting your recovery with a structured approach to care
For many musculoskeletal problems, recovery doesn’t always happen after a single treatment. While some symptoms may begin to improve quickly, restoring healthy movement patterns and addressing the underlying causes of pain often requires a more structured approach.
Care plans are designed to guide patients through the different stages of recovery — helping reduce pain, restore function, and support long-term health and resilience.
All care recommendations are based on your Consultation & Assessment and are discussed together during your Report of Findings visit, ensuring that any plan is appropriate for your individual needs.
Many musculoskeletal problems develop gradually over time, and meaningful recovery often involves addressing the underlying causes rather than simply masking symptoms.
The Three Phases of Care
Recovery often follows a natural progression. At the clinic, treatment is commonly organised into three phases to help guide patients from pain towards long-term wellbeing.
The Pain Relief Stage
The initial focus is on reducing pain and irritation while helping restore comfortable movement.
During this stage treatment may sometimes be more frequent in order to calm symptoms, improve joint mobility, and support the body's natural healing processes.
As symptoms begin to improve, treatment frequency gradually reduces.
The Corrective Stage
Once pain begins to settle, the focus shifts towards addressing the underlying factors that may have contributed to the problem.
This may involve improving movement patterns, joint function, muscle balance and posture, alongside advice and exercises to support recovery.
The aim of this phase is not simply to reduce symptoms, but to help prevent the issue from repeatedly returning.
The Wellness Stage
Once symptoms have improved and function has been restored, some patients choose to continue with occasional care to help maintain mobility and support their overall health.
At this stage treatment is usually less frequent and focuses on maintaining the progress made during earlier stages of care.
Some patients choose to continue their care through our Wellness Membership, which provides a simple way to support long-term mobility and preventative health.
Personalised Care Plans
Everyone's body and circumstances are different. Some conditions resolve relatively quickly, while others that have developed over months or years may require a more gradual process of recovery.
During your Report of Findings, we will discuss your assessment results and outline the most appropriate care plan for your situation, including the recommended frequency of treatment and expected stages of recovery.
This ensures that care is always transparent, personalised, and based on clinical findings.
Start With A Consultation
The first step is a Consultation & Assessment, where we take the time to understand your symptoms, medical history, lifestyle and movement patterns.
Following your assessment, we will explain our findings and discuss whether a structured care plan may be beneficial for your recovery.

My Approach To Care
I believe that healthcare should always be patient-centred, transparent, and based on clinical need.
Care plans are never mandatory, and treatment is always discussed openly following your consultation and assessment. If a structured plan is recommended, we will explain the reasons clearly and outline what the different stages of care may involve.
Our aim is not simply to provide short-term relief, but to help support lasting improvements in movement, health and wellbeing.
You are always involved in decisions about your care and free to proceed in the way that feels right for you.
"I have intermittent sciatica, and I always experience significant improvement after my sessions with him. It is testament to his skill that I am prepared to travel a two hour round trip to see him!"

What Happens Next?
The first step is a Consultation & Assessment, where we take the time to understand your symptoms, medical history, lifestyle and movement patterns.
During this appointment we will:
• discuss your symptoms and health history
• assess your movement and areas of discomfort
• identify possible contributing factors
Following your assessment, we will arrange a Report of Findings, where we explain what we’ve discovered and discuss the most appropriate plan to support your recovery.
This ensures that any care recommendations are clear, personalised, and based on your individual needs.
